Specialty Sales Ops Representative
The Specialty Sales Operations Representatives are responsible for maintaining Black Diamond customer accounts on an in-house basis. This includes all dealer services responsibilities, sales, sales support, technical product support and problem resolution. This position will work in collaboration with the sales team to execute the order management, build account relationships, and promote growth by proactively identifying issues and opportunities.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain accurate order book in Navision for all accounts included in the territory. This includes importing/ entering, allocating, monitoring, and releasing sales/ blanket orders in a timely manner.
- Build customer relationships as it pertains to the Sales operations functions of order related details such as timing, availability, backorder management, PO adjustments, overall account performance, and identifying areas of opportunity.
- Authorized to answer incoming dealer calls and make outgoing calls to customers. Responsible to report problems and recommend solutions to the Specialty Sales Manager.
- Responsible to take orders and sell product in accordance with BDEL ISO Contract Review Procedures. Responsible for dealer requests for delivery within the parameters of current terms, conditions, pricing, and availability. Responsible to acquire authorization for any orders that fall outside of regular terms.
- Authorized to collaborate with regional sales representatives/ sales management as needed to provide the best possible customer experience.
- Responsible for assisting in administrating pre-season selling/ reselling, territory distribution and all other aspects of territory management. Emphasis is placed on meeting territory sales goals in conjunction with monthly sales goals. Maintaining current and intimate knowledge of their territory's customers.
- Responsible for coordinating with credit manager on collection issues and customer credit limits.
- Travel to regional shows, demonstrations, account visits, and sales events as requested by the Specialty Sales Manager.

Skills and general experience:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Sales and product knowledge are mandatory. Time management, account management, and computer skills are important. A Specialty Sales Operations Representative I must be articulate, detail oriented, and project the appropriate company image.

- 1-2 years of experience in retail and/or wholesale sales in outdoor specialty (required)
Skills and general experience:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Sales and product knowledge are mandatory. Time management, account management, and computer skills are important. A Specialty Sales Operations Representative I must be articulate, detail oriented, and project the appropriate company image.
- Alternative qualification: An active, on-going knowledge of company products or additional work experience would be preferable over additional education.
